amazing view comfortable room quality biscuits

The restaurant had great views overlooking the Peak District. The room was very comfortable. It had spa-style toiletries and a well-stocked guest tray. It included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits.

One improvement would be better signage since there are no clear directions. I had some difficulty finding my way around the complex at first. More signs would definitely help new guests.

the breakfast was buffet style and offered a hot and continental selection. both options were quite nice.

i wasn't happy with our room overlooking the car park it also faced rooms with hot tubs. i wouldn't have liked people looking down on me if i was in a hot tub. a few metallic confetti pieces were on the carpet too.

the reception was cute and helpful upon arrival. my room was clean and quite spacious. the views overlooking the moorlands were fine. i found the signage to be clear and easy to follow throughout the hotel.

small room stale pastries

the room was FAR too small. I also discovered the television had very limited channels. i expected more for the price i paid, AND the breakfast was quite underwhelming. the pastries tasted stale, and the hot items were barely warm. the overall experience felt substandard for a place that projects a higher standard.

the receptionist was friendly upon arrival, a positive start to the stay.

The mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. A decent mattress or even a topper is a basic need hotels should address. this impacted the quality of sleep and the overall experience negatively. investing in better beds is essential.

the on site pub had good food i found the service excellent and friendly i felt very welcome. i also liked the room. the room was comfortable and had spa style toiletries including tea coffee and biscuits. the staff were pleasant and helpful.
